How payments work
Each supplier's invoice reaches the couple through Carón. The couple pay Carón, and Carón pays the supplier, keeping a running account of every cost. Each supplier's terms are confirmed with the couple before anything is committed, and a deposit secures each booking. Anything to do with the venue, including rooms Carón books there, is paid by the couple directly to the venue.

How payments work
The couple book and pay their own suppliers. At the handover meeting, the couple give Carón a record of what has been paid, what remains and each supplier's deadline. Carón tracks the balances and reminds the couple as each deadline approaches, and payment stays with the couple unless another arrangement is agreed with Carón. Anything to do with the venue, including rooms Carón books there, is paid by the couple directly to the venue.

Wedding celebrations often extend beyond a single day. From welcome drinks the evening before to a farewell brunch the following day, festivities may unfold over two or three days, on weekdays as well as weekends. Each element is considered as part of the wider celebration, ensuring a thoughtful and cohesive experience for you and your guests.
The ceremony itself
I work with a trusted marriage officer, ensuring that your vows are woven naturally into the day I have thoughtfully planned with you.
At home, and considerably further afield
The same considered approach, wherever your wedding takes place. For celebrations planned from afar, coordination begins months in advance, with photographs, thoughtful conversations and a shared understanding of the day you envision.
Your destination wedding in South Africa
For couples travelling from abroad, a travel concierge offers support throughout the planning journey. Flights, itineraries and that all-important first visit are thoughtfully coordinated around the wedding, allowing the wider experience to feel as considered as the day itself.
What stays with Carón
Every recommendation comes from a carefully curated network, shaped by direct experience, trusted relationships and an understanding of quality that extends beyond what happens to be in vogue.
- Flowers and the overall design are thoughtfully conceived and executed at every scale, by me or by an outside florist or designer brought in where the day calls for it.
- Photography and event décor — from marquees, lighting and draping to candelabra — are entrusted to a select circle of proven professionals.
- Bridal couture, groom's attire and cakes are sourced through the same carefully vetted network, offering a more considered experience, with one trusted point of contact rather than a succession of separate enquiries.
- For celebrations with a more expansive creative vision — a distinctive theme or an aesthetic conceived from the ground up — a dedicated wedding designer may be brought in to develop and realise the visual direction. This is a considered addition, introduced when the scope of the celebration genuinely calls for it, rather than an assumed part of every wedding.

In the end, it may be something as small as a boutonnière carefully re-pinned before the photographs, ensuring it sits perfectly in every frame, that speaks most eloquently of the care behind a beautifully considered day.
